Specialized Experience for GS-11:
One year of experience which includes:
1.) Conduct studies and analyze results under general supervision of a Senior Planner 2.) Plan and manage the studies to completion with supervisor approval 3.) Provide written and oral reports on the studies progress to supervisor and managers. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-9). Specialized Experience for GS-12:
One year of experience which includes:
1)Technical writing/editing of products/documents with minimal corrections 2) Understands Water Resource Policy/Guidance and SMART Planning Process. 3) Effectively Communicates (written/verbal) with Supervisors and Managers and keeps them apprised of project delivery team progress. 4) Understands Project Management Processes Scope/Schedule/Budget) and effectively monitors projects/studies through critical milestones. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For the GS 11, you may meet the qualifications using both education and experience. For the GS-12, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
