Hutco Inc. In Mobile AL is currently seeking 1st Class Structural Welders. Below are the essential job qualifications.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, DUTTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
2 years experience in marine/industrial setting.
Demonstrates the ability to pass the following, including NDE, WPQT, FCAW with ceramic tape, single vee, open butt in 1G, 2G and 3G positions. Test plates to be 1 thick and 12 in length.
Must be able to perform the FCAW/SMAW welds above, on mock up test station.
Performs the above listed WPQT's under limited supervision. Must be able to perform grinding and joint preparation for NDE and inspection processes.
Must be proficient in carbon arc gouging. May be assigned to work any shift. May be assigned tasks outside craft as required. Must comply with the Company's Non Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy which expects that all relationships among persons in the workplace will be business-like and free of bias, prejudice, and harassment

Testing Details:
Candidate will interview with hiring manager. Candidate will than go to testing facility to complete Welding Certification .

Tools Required for Testing:
WELDING SHIELD, WELDING GLOVES, HARD HAT, STEEL TOED BOOTS, WELDING LEATHERS, NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS,
LONG SLEEVE SHIRT MADE OF WOOL OR COTTON


COMPENSATION:
$24.00 / HOUR FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES
$22.00/ HOUR
$75.00 A DAY PER DIEM FOR NON LOCAL CANDIDATES (To qualify for Non local the candidate must have a utility bill and picture ID with matching addresses 50 Miles away from Mobile job Site. If you do not have matching to picture ID, two utility bills with the same address will also do.)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
