1st Class Ship Fitters!!!!!!

Hutco Inc. in Mobile, AL is in need of 1st Class Ship Fitters Immediately!!! Please see below for essential job duties.

Candidate must have 3 years related experience in related industry.
Must pass SMAW, FCAW using C02 Gas Shielding vertical and overhead fillet break test using 7018 electrode.
Perform basic layout of plates, materials and weldments using basic sketches, drawings, and diagrams.
Candidates must be able to perform ship fitting functions such as cropping, burning, washing, edge prepping, fit up of structure, and plates with minimum supervision.
Candidate must be able to effectively use hand craft related tools and equipment, i.e. track burner, overhead crane, 50 ton jacks and large fairing tools.
Perform burning and fitting operations with limited supervision using standard ship fitting equipment to accomplish fabrication and ship repair duties.
Candidate must have knowledge of measurements, weight calculations and shipyard terminology such as general ship and vessel layout.


COMPENSATION:
$22.00 / HOUR FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES
$21.50/ HOUR
$75.00 A DAY PER DIEM FOR NON LOCAL CANDIDATES (To qualify for Non local the candidate must have a utility bill and picture ID with matching addresses 50 Miles away from Mobile job Site. If you do not have matching to picture ID, two utility bills with the same address will also do.)
