Environmental Data Administrator (Tech III) - Mobile, AL
Part-Time Position

POSITION OVERVIEW
:
Under close supervision, performs environmental data review, environmental data entry, and report writing tasks specific to assigned project or work group.
Requires familiarity with standard business processes and proficiency in PC skills.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Gathers/Reviews laboratory and general environmental data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit.
Such reports may be in spreadsheet or graphical formats, or narrative-style word documents.
Prepares general correspondence and maintains general files.
Performs sorting and maintenance tasks associated with the organized storage of a significant amount of hard copy files.
Answers telephone, taking and relaying messages.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
PREFERRED EDUCATION/
Experience:
High school diploma and 1-3 years of relevant work experience (i.e., work experience with an environmental consulting firm).
Prefer candidate to have a 2-year degree in an environmental science or related field.
Familiarity with asbestos & lead regulations is a plus.
Good business English and general office practice skills are required.
Demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required.
