POSITION OVERVIEW
:

Performs environmental project coordination, environmental data review, environmental data entry, and report writing tasks specific to assigned project or work group.

Requires familiarity with standard business processes and proficiency in PC skills.


SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Coordinates asbestos/lead assessment & abatement projects of small or moderate scope and complexity.

Prepares project correspondence and maintains project files.

Gathers/Reviews laboratory and general environmental data; reviews and combines this information into established reports for use within and outside the unit.

Such reports may be in spreadsheet or graphical formats, or narrative-style word documents.


May perform a variety of environmental sampling and analytical tasks (i.e., groundwater, soil, and industrial hygiene sampling).

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
PREFERRED EDUCATION/
Experience:
4-year degree in Environmental Science or other related field
1-4 years of relevant work experience (i.e., work experience with an environmental consulting firm).
Candidate should have a working knowledge of asbestos & lead regulations.
Prefer candidate with certification as an Asbestos and/or Lead Inspector.
Good business English and general office practice skills are required.

Demonstrated proficiency in keyboard skills, as well as a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, is required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
