systems Ensure a continual improvement of all responsible systems by monitoring and evaluating Level II Rolling and Cooling Models in relation to actual mill production data with the goal to increase quality and throughput Ensure the readiness and availability of the Level II Servers and Mill Models used for production Ensuring the readiness of the backup systems Leading and participating in project groups dedicated to special targets Supporting flexibility and enhance skills and responsibility within the team Support conducting regular analysis of the maintenance process concerning costs, quality, availability, weak spot analysis, future development etc. - Support presenting results of maintenance process - Support developing of improvement programs - Support preparing investment evaluations - Supervise and conduct installations of improvement measures - Support decreasing and optimizing maintenance activities concerning time, cost and resources - Support management in optimizing quality, cost, availability and performance (six sigma) of HSM Level II - Continuous know-how exchange with other Specialists (electrical, mechanical, production, quality of HSM and other lines). - Ensure spare part availability and completeness of technical documentation for HSM Level II - Prepare and expand electrical documentation for HSM Level II - Responsible for improvement of electrical equipment - Responsible for scheduling, planning and execution of short- and long-term maintenance activities and securing cost and availability effective preventive maintenance - Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 9001:2008 Team Member Competency Form. Daily Tasks Performed - Prepare and attend daily meetings and briefings on the maintenance and production situation - Analyze reasons for production disturbances in corporation with other maintenance and production personnel - Monitor, evaluate and improve Level II Mill Setup Models to improve quality and throughput - Troubleshooting in unscheduled maintenance - Prepare data on cost, availability and quality situation - Coordinate and direct personnel as required Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge - Basic maintenance or IT knowledge for 3 years in industrial environment Minimum Job Relevant Experience - Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, IT or project engineering Degree/Certification Required - B.S. Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university, or combination of related education and experience. Required Skills - Basic knowledge of Hot Strip Mill Rolling Technology and Laminar Cooling - Basic knowledge of Hot Strip Mill Automation System Architecture and Level II Mill Setup Models - Basic knowledge in Microsoft Applications and Operating Systems and general computer proficient like Microsoft authorization concepts. - Basic knowledge of different hardware architectures and hardware security concepts - Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, MS SQL), network systems and network security. - Structural or Object Orientated software programming skills.
