The campus is also home to primary care physicians, a senior residence, sleep center, cancer center, orthopaedic surgery center, wound care & hyperbaric center, and an emergency department staffed by all board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
Responsibilities &
Qualifications:
Under the immediate supervision of the Security Supervisor, the Armed Security Officer identifies crime, security and safety risks in and around SMC facilities and initiates appropriate action to remove or reduce those risks.
The Armed Security Officer also assists all patients, visitors and staff as needed.

We are a drug free facility.
Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education:
Must be able to provide validation of a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED).
Job Requirements:
Previous law enforcement experience required.
Current or previous POST (Peace Officers Standards and Training) certification preferred.
POST from other states will be considered.
Must meet annual firearms qualifications requirements.
Must possess a valid firearms permit.
