The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute provides exceptional patient care to oncology and hematology patients through innovative treatments and also by providing both clinical and basic cancer research.The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute is managed by the USA HealthCare Management, LLC.
Essential Functions:
Maintains complex records system involving a large number of varied transactions for the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute; assembles and/or compiles data used in preparing budgets; prepares contracts and subcontracts; prepares, reviews and processes vouchers/invoices transmitted for payment; prepares, reviews and processes requisitions and purchase orders using the Banner Financial System and tracks to completion; serves as departmental Banner Super-user; prepares and processes direct pay requests and allocates to appropriate account and subcode; reconciles outside vendor statements under contract with USA Children's and Women's Hospital; prepares various reports as required; prepares reimbursement forms for local, national and international travel which may include calculating mileage and per diems; prepares tuition reimbursement forms which includes calculating reimbursable fees; prepares and processes bid and sole-sourcing request; interacts by phone letter, or in person with university departments, outside vendors, faculty, staff and outside agencies; orders and maintains research lab, medical, office and facility supplies and associated equipment for those areas; assists Accountant by carrying out fiscal activities; supervises clerical staff and/or student workers to include assigning duties and checking work; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and four years of bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience.
Working Days and Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
