Essential Functions:
Prepares correspondence, reports, and other documents using a PC; makes arrangements for conferences including space, time, and place; informs participants of topics to be discussed and researches and provides them with necessary background information; takes minutes at meetings and prepares for final distribution; opens and distributes mail; independently researches and prepares highly technical, confidential, or complex reports for the supervisor's review and information; maintains inventory of equipment and furnishings; maintains departmental files; maintains calendar for conference room; prepares limited purchase orders and other forms as required; assists with pre-award grants for faculty, post-docs and graduate students; supervises student assistants to include assigning duties and checking work; maintains department website; assists with coordinating graduate training program seminars and research forums; interacts by telephone, letter, e-mail or in person with faculty, staff and students; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; and related duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent,four years of progressively responsible secretarial experience, and the ability to type 35 correct words per minute.
Working Days and Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 am to 5:00 pmEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
