Structural Shop Floor Planner
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Demonstrates on a daily basis Ownership, Responsibility, and Accountability (ORA).
Must comply with the Company's Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy which expects that all relationships among persons in the workplace will be business-like and free of bias, prejudice, and harassment.
Organize materials for OHSA required training. Assist with training as necessary.
Experience with detailed, short term, shop floor planning and sequencing, and work station lay-down planning working directly with production management and the planning department.
Experience with outbounding and expediting material
Experience with production work progressing/Earned Value Data
Experience with establishing and maintaining detailed work station performance metrics and Process Improvement Initiatives.
Works with Planning to assist with development of work packages, schedules data from project releases and revises schedules from Leaderman/Foreman inputs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Required Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs and company database system. Sound knowledge of craft, marine material, equipment and supplies.
