Practice Management System Support Analyst-Mobile

Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) is seeking an Application Analyst to support the build and implementation of a practice management application across multiple physician practices in and around both Mobile, Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. Post implementation, this position will have overall responsibility for end user support, including user setup and maintenance, coordination of application upgrades, troubleshooting and communication with the vendor support team.

Required
Qualifications:
2 or more years experience in implementing and supporting clinical systems required, preferably practice management software in an ambulatory practice setting
Technical aptitude
Excellent organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to effectively communicate with clinicians
Experience with training end users on clinical systems
Ability to fulfill the requirements of On Call rotations
Willingness to reside within a commutable distance of Mobile, AL
Ability to accommodate the local travel to various medical practices in the region, required to support the needs of this position
Additional Preferred
Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Experience with physician practice EMR systems
Experience with Allscripts EMR and practice management software
Prior experience with Siemens and/or McKesson applications
### RESPONSIBILITIES
This Analyst will:
Assist building system configuration during implementation phases.
Coordinate training of end users during implementation phases and ongoing.
Provide primary phone and/or on-site application support for end users.
Coordinate escalation of issues with vendor support and other IT resources.
Coordinate resources for application upgrades and other system projects.
Setup new users and maintain active users as needed for new hires, terminations and transfers.
