Ascension Health Information Services (AHIS) located at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL is searching for a PACs Administrator to support, monitor, and lead projects related to clinical imaging systems .
Acts as primary contact and focal point for issues related to PACS through such methods as working collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary system support team, developing communication between the technical application, users, and system support groups to facilitate and enhance the exchange of information.
Works effectively on a continuing basis with department directors, Physicians, and department super users to understand and explain business and technical issues. Provides end-user support and consultation, responds to help desk tickets for issues and enhancement request. Serves as Project manager and/or lead analyst for all projects related to clinical imaging systems at Providence.
### QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2 or more years experience with PACS/RIS systems
Knowledge of DICOM
Able to fulfill on call rotation requirements
Preferred Requirements:
Experience with Siemens Syngo RIS system
Experience with Merge Cardio, Hemo
Project Management experience
Clinical experience in an area of Clinical Imaging
### RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates working knowledge of current tools and techniques used in the technical environment by method such as gathering information from users, identifying trends and communicating with technical support staff. Understands changing business needs for support area and works with vendors to ensure service levels meet Health Ministry standards; Performs on-going capacity planning analysis.
Recommends standard policies and procedures for providing routine Services
Provides accurate, timely and creative solutions to end-user problems to ensure end-user productivity
Performs customer follow up for requests, issues, or questions
Acts as liaison between system vendors and department staff for upgrades, maintenance, and projects
Acts as the interface between the user and AIS
Participates in Change Control, Governance, and Project Scoping committees related to Clinical Imaging
Serves as back up for PACs Administrator at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
